"Math Mountains"
1. Watch the video.
2. Create 20 math mountains of your own on notebook paper. Remember the top number is the sum or total. The bottom left and right numbers are the addends (the two numbers that are added together to get the sum). Plus, a variable is simply a symbol(many times a letter) for a number we don't know yet.
Example: 5 + n = 12. The variable (number we don't know yet) is "n". To solve this equation, n = 7.

2. Write your own letter to your mom for Mother's Day! Be sure to keep it a surprise for her!

Find a good chapter book!
1. Read your chapter book for 30 minutes+.
2. Print off the above Novel Study Choice Boards (there are 2 to choose from).
3. After you read, pick one of the boxes on a choice board and do activity. Color in the box when done so you can choose a new box next time!
