Reading

Watch & Learn: Use a phonics strategy to read words with your child's reading teacher. This may not be your homeroom teacher. Please ask your child which group s/he is in and watch the corresponding video. You do not need to watch both!
Practice: Read independently for 15 minutes. Students should read the story his/her teacher mentioned in the video and other stories we've read together in class. All of these stories are in our Wonders textbooks!
May Do: Log into Lexia for 15 minutes.

Math

Watch & Learn: Represent and compare data using "more", "fewer", "most", and "fewest." You will need:
1. A blank piece of paper or a 10x10 Grid (see below)
2. Coloring tools and a pencil
Practice: Strengthen addition and subtraction using a tool of choice:
1. Hands on: Using a deck of cards, pull two cards and add. Repeat 15+ times.
2. Online game via ABCya: Roll to the Finish
May do: Log into ST Math or Zearn for 15 minutes.

Watch & Learn: Listen to Hey, Little Ant. Listen closely for reasons why the ant should be squished or saved.
Practice: What do you think? Should the boy squish or save the ant? Watch Mrs. Neidigh complete her planning page and then come up with your own.
