Hello RCS Students! I hope you had a WONDERFUL Easter. What do you think about all this snow?? Are you feeling a bit cooped up in your house? Or frustrated with the people you’re stuck at home with? I can’t imagine that you are :) Today we are going to learn a little about Noah and the Ark. Boy I bet he felt cooped up and sometimes frustrated with all those animals on the ark. But we know God had a special plan for Noah, and he has a special plan for all of us too! Today we are also going to learn about the colors of the rainbow and the special meaning behind the rainbows we see.
Today for your art project you will be making tin foil prints. You will need:
Hopefully it warms up soon…. I think we will go outside for our next art lesson! Love you all!!

Hello RCS!
I cannot believe we are on week 4!! I have enjoyed all your amazing musical instruments and your drawings of your instruments!! This week we will learn about a Baroque composer named Antonio Vivaldi. He composed a Violin Concerto named “The Four Seasons”. We have experienced such a quick change in weather from sunny days to a very cold and snowy Easter. I love that we live in Colorado where we have such beautiful changing seasons. Vivaldi’s piece celebrates the changes that each season brings. I would like you to ask your parents permission to listen to the “Four Seasons”. I have attached a link to a worksheet that allows you to use descriptive words about what you hear.

I hope you enjoy this lesson!!
Miss you all so much!

Hello RCS students! Today is our virtual art show! This is the day we work for all year!
This video/slideshow is packed with information. If you don't have time to experience the whole show (it's about 30 minutes), here is what is in the video:
Don't forget to print your participation award here . You are all winner's in my mind! Keith Haring once said to a group of kids, "No one can say your artwork is good or bad, because it's YOUR art." I completely agree with him! I love you all. Keep creating!
Love,
Mrs. Ritzer
