Must Do: Phonics Review

Watch & Learn: Watch the Phonics Lesson video with Mrs. Brzeinski to go over letter names, sounds, and sight words.
Practice: Cut, glue, and sort the short and long "0" words. Please read the list to a parent or caregiver.
May Do: Read for 2o minutes or do Lexia for 15 minutes.

Must Do: Decodable Text Reading

Watch & Learn: Watch the sound-by-sound blending teacher video. Use this phonics routine to decode any words you don't know when reading Look! A Home!
Practice: Students, read Look! A Home! aloud to a parent, sibling, or caregiver. Utilize sound by sound blending to decode any unknown words. Also, review high frequency words as you come upon them throughout the story. You can highlight these words like we do at school. Perform a second read of the story at some point during the day. It can be to your sibling, friend, or a stuffed animal!
May Do: Work on Lexia for 10-15 minutes. Teachers will be reviewing students' progress. We are excited to celebrate their success even though we can't be together.

Watch & Learn: Students will watch and review partners of 10 with Mrs. McCool!
Practice: Print and complete the "Partners of 10" activity page. Make sure to write the equations in your best handwriting. Double check that all of your numbers go in the correct direction!
May do:
- Friends of 10 Chart: On a separate piece of paper draw two vertical lines. Remember to leave enough space to write the partners of 10 between the two vertical lines. On one side of the line write a 10 and on the other side of the line write the missing partner to make 10.
- Sidewalk Chalk Partners: Get outside for some fresh air and finding partners of 10! Use chalk and one or two dice. Roll the dice and find all the partners of the number you rolled. Write the partner equations for the number rolled using chalk!
- Use Zearn/ST math (whichever your teacher uses) for 15 minutes.

2. May Do Letter: Write a letter to your teacher. See if mom or dad will help you mail it. Email your teacher if you need her address.
