- Watch & Learn: Watch the videos above for vocabulary instruction, review of strategy & skill, and the story Spider Woman Teaches the Navajo.
- Practice: As you watch, listen for the new vocabulary words: natural resources, create, designs, weave, and knowledge. Give a thumbs up each time you hear one of these words used in the story. Watch as Mrs. Colburn models how to reread things in the story that don't make sense, and how to find the sequence of events in order to better understand the story plot.
- May Do: Read for 20 minutes or do Lexia for 15 minutes.

- Watch & Learn: Students will watch Mrs. McCool's math lesson on teen numbers and 10 and extra ones.
- Practice: Students will complete two worksheets to practice teen number equations.
- May do:
- Teen Number Picture Equation: On a separate piece of paper, create a teen number equation using pictures. Remember to have a group of 10. For example, draw a group of 10 trees, leave a space and draw 6 more trees, and then write the equations underneath the picture: 10+6=16.
- Use Zearn/ST math (whichever your teacher uses) for 15 minutes.

- Practice: Today we are focusing on our relationship with God the Father during writing today. You will do the drawing page as a must do, and then you may pick between option 1 & 2 (or do both if you want to and have time!). Remember to add details in your picture and to write in your best handwriting.
- Option 1 - Telling the Good News to others is important to God. Who would you tell the good news to and what would you say?
- Option 2 - Draw and write about yourself doing something right with God. Some examples would include: telling the truth, honoring mom and dad, loving your neighbor as yourself.
2. Share: Once you've completed today's writing assignments, share your papers with a family member. Pray with your family and thank God for His love.
