This week you will be writing friendly letters to the residents of an assisted living facility! These are elderly people who are not able to have any visitors right now, and haven't been able to see their friends or relatives. You will bless their lives so much by writing them a kind letter letting them know you are praying for them and that Jesus loves them!
1. Watch my video about writing a friendly letter.
2. Watch the Dear Mr. Blueberry video. This is a great book that shows the characters writing letters back and forth. See if you can find the greeting, body, closing, and signature in each of their letters.
3. On a piece of paper, write your own friendly letter to a resident at the assisted living facility. You can address the letter to "Dear Friend".
