If you are lucky enough to have a garden, then why not use it? Get permission from your parents or carers before you do go digging. I wouldn't want anyone to get in trouble. Also watch out for any gas lines or electrical cables - I don't want to see you on the nine o'clock news for the wrong reasons!

Or watch these fungi grow from spores.
Or this spring flowers time-lapse by YouTube photgrapher, Neil Bromhall.
Or this video from the BBC about urban foxes (the kind that could be living in your street without you knowing about it).
Or these later winter snowdrops time-lapse, again by YouTube photgrapher, Neil Bromhall.
VegPlotter is an online application designed to help gardeners design and plan out their vegetable calendar. It makes it easy to work out what to seed, when to seed it, when to plant out and when to harvest. If you would like to have access to the software you can either fill out a form requesting your own account or students can access the CynffigTechnology account in-class at school. This free software comes highly recommended.
Cynffig Comprehensive is not affiliated with the Garden Superstore, an online gardening and landscaping centre and we do not receive any money from them! However they do have a nice, useful gardening calendar.
