This is to ensure that you are able to gather the correct tools and materials, consider what are the important sizes or design constraints and to also consider the safety and quality control factors so that you don't injure yourself or others and you produce a quality outcome that is 'fit for purpose'.

Gantt Charts are useful for visualising planning. It is easier to see when tasks should start and finish and how long they take. It is also a nice way laying out tasks in a logical sequence.
This planner contains a plan template, a cutting list as well as a Gantt chart you can use to visually see how long tasks took.
