Heat Gun

The department has a single heat gun which is generally used for removing old, worn papers from the disc sanders in 1G1 and the workshop. It is not used by students.

This should be used with leather, heat-resistant gauntlets and, where appropriate a PP3 mask if used to remove old paint and protective coatings from surfaces.
