An architect has been commissioned to develop the technical drawings for the project and a basic floor plan and elevation drawing has been attached for the proposal. This contains key dimensions for the walls, windows and doors.
Carry out a quantity survey using the architect's floorplan, calculating the following:
The total number of bricks required (at approx £0.78 per brick)
The estimated number of bags of cement (at approx £6 per 25kg bag).
The estimated number of bags of sand (at approx £4.76 per 25kg bag).
The total cost of these materials.
