To understand the importance of workshop safety and the properties and uses of different manufacturing materials, especially wood, including how to shape, form, and join them to create functional products.

Purpose - so that I can explain why safety is essential in a workshop environment and identify different types of manufacturing materials.

Purpose - so that I can select appropriate tools and materials and apply suitable shaping and joining techniques to construct wooden products.

Purpose - in order to design and create accurate, functional wooden products by evaluating different joint types for both visual appeal and mechanical strength.
