This is a small selection of curated projects, all found on the internet to get you started. With a little 'digging' you can find plenty of other tutorials via the Instructables website or through social bookmarking sites like Pinterest. All you need is a little imagination and a 'push' in the right direction.

If you are new to 3D creative modelling, you might want to start with AutoDesk TinkerCAD. This program is completely free to students. All you need is a cynffig.net student email address. You can sign up clicking this link. If prompted for an approval code type: UX1Y6A2B
All of these suggested projects can be just enjoyed on their own or even manufactured using a 3D printer. If its 'good enough', we'll make this for you in school.

This application is available online for free when you sign up with a free student or educator account. It is very simple to use and easy to pick up. There are plenty of tutorials available online to help you on your learning journey.
Sketchup Online does not require you to install any software on your computer.
This is the 3D modelling CAD application that we use here at Cynffig. Totally free to students and educators it is very well supported online with hundreds of fantastic tutorials to help you on your way. Just create a free account with AutoDesk and then get access to Fusion360 and all the other major products by clicking on this link.
You will need to download the software and install it on a PC (not a MAC, although there may be a MAC version available).
Make sure you have permission to install software from your parents or carers first.
OnShape is a very new but very powerful CAD application that has all the major features of more established CAD programs but is toally free for education users. Just sign up for an account with your cynffig.net email address and you will be up and running.
You don't need to install anything with OnShape as it is run inside your web browser!
