I like how this page really gives you the idea I'm a 'unique' person. This title page is more like a foundation of my art life. The bigger words express the things I love the most and that's funny cause friends and family is smaller than Lagoon and music when I love them more. I really like how I added more visuals because it really shows how I personally am a more visual person.
I chose this page in my sketchbook since I'm proud that I know the layout of the face pretty well. The face is also something I really like to draw and mess with since the more you practice with something or experiment with the more you can surprise yourself.
These are my warm ups that I like the best cause it reminds me that I can practice everyday to become a better artist.
The Western Heritage project was and is my favorite project here. My final is on this site if your interested you will see it later. These sketches are all linear and I love linear art where you don't lift your pen it's really fun and helps you realize that shapes are very important to look at.
Media: charcoal, prismacolor
My goal for this project was to really get better with blending and adding in values to make the art look more defined and detailed.
I learned more about how values can be a big part of art. I also learned I really enjoy charcoal, I could've added darker values now that I'm comfortable in using charcoal.
Media: yarn, glue
My goal for this project was to express the idea that our decisions may be the worst for us instead of the best.
I learned a lot about linear art and how bringing out the shapes in art can be a really good technique to master into becoming a talented artist.
Media: acrylic paint
My goal for this artwork is to get better at painting. I never really like to paint but this was really fun to do.
I learned a lot in this project, for example, I learned a lot with monochromatic schemes and blending with paint.
Media: marker, prismacolor, paper
My goal for this project was to understand how to really add different media and making it all fit together.
I learned many things from this project too. It was hard to bring everything to look good together because I think I got off-topic and added to many things in this artwork.
