Face Mug: My goal was to create a face that I was happy with. I am really proud of how my artwork turned out. I think I used my time wisely and really paid attention to the details in my artwork. I feel like I was successful in reaching my goals because I did the extra work (adding eyes) and I am really proud of my eyes. I worked really hard to keep them as even and as level as possible. I learned that if I work really hard on something and keep trying, I can achieve something that I am proud of.
Line Sculpture: I see a bunch of different lines moving around in different directions. Some parts I feel look chaotic and then other parts are calming and my eyes can rest a little bit. Both of my sides are completely different in the sense that I see two different themes. One of them, my lines sort of represent space by the stars and the black and white. On the other side, I feel almost calmer due to the negative space. I see more of a flower and calm side versus the chaotic and space side. I chose to do two different layouts on each side because I wanted them to be different which I feel I have accomplished. I have two different feelings when I compare the sides which is what I was going for because I did not want them to be the same.
Organic Pot Sculpture: I personally like my piece of artwork because of the use of organic texture that is seen. Both sides are different, so you really get to see the uniqueness of the art. I enjoy looking at my calmer side because it is plain and simple, but pleasing to look at. On that side, I love the feeling it makes you have when looking at it. I also like how both sides are very different in the sense that one side is chaotic and one side is calm.
