This is the first project that we did in art class, "The Fingerprint Project". This is a tracing of my fingerprint with words, designs, and patterns that describe me. The beginning of the finger starts with almost a wave-like presence showing the flows of my emotions and traits.
I chose these sketchbook pages as a representation of my growth in this class.
Charcoal
The goal for this project was to create a still life of Southern objects to send to the rodeo art contest. From this project, I learned the importance of shadows and values in a still life.
Acrylic Paint
The goal for this project was to portray shoes with the correct values and sizes while also working with paints and color schemes. From this project, I learned color schemes and how to use paint efficiently.
Prismacolors
The goal of this project was to take fast sketches and add creativity and color to bring them to life. This project taught me how to use space efficiently and express my creativity.
Graphite
The goal of this project was to draw a corner of the school building and to make sure to grasp the ways of perspective. Throughout this project, I learned ways to help me with my spacing and perspective while also learning different techniques like stippling.
