My Sketches
(This section is sketches that I have done in my sketchbook.)
My Major Projects
Title: Skeleton Man
Media: ink
I like this artwork because it brings out my love for detail as well as pattern. I was trying to express a surrealist image of a person acting in a normal manner except for the fact that he is without skin and organs. I learned how to printmake in this project. My goal was to learn how to do different styles of printmaking.
Title: Toilet Paper Still Life (Part of Paper Series)
Media: Pencil
This artwork is about simple things and how they can be interesting (even toilet paper;) I Learned about drawing with perspectives as well as learning to shade correctly.
Title: Who is she?
Media: Oil Pastel
This drawing represents exactly what it is---chaos! This shows many parts of a person but still leaves you confused on who they really are.
Title: Self-Portrait
Media: Acrylic Paint
This self-portrait represents my crazy inner-life by use of messy hair. I wanted to enhance my eye color because eyes are the window to the soul.
Title: Rodeo Art
Media: Prisma Color and acrylic paint
This is by far my favorite drawing that I have done. I really like my use of color and shading in this piece. My favorite part is the chicken's eye. One thing I learned from this is that you have to be patient with your art if you want it to come out well.
