This fingerprint project describes me because on the page, there is specific words and phrases that are important to who I am. Secondly, the colors of the words resemble the authentic colors of those objects in person.
I chose these pages because I feel that these show how I took the techniques from the left, and implemented them into my final artwork on the right.
Charcoal
The goal for this project was to be able to draw something that has to do with western heritage. One thing I learned in this project was to be able to draw big, and take up space on the page.
Pencil/ Graphite
The goal for this project was to be able to capture perspective of the specific spot we were drawing in the chapel. The main lesson I learned from this piece was to take a risk. At the beginning of the year, I was afraid to step out of the box and try something new, this project taught me the value of being adventurous with my art.
Charcoal
The goal of this project was to learn how to create value with charcoal. One thing I learned form this project was to be was to look at myself in a different way. I had to learn to look at the spots on my face where the light hits, or how the mask is creased across my face.
Acrylic Paint
The goal for this project was to learn how to make secondary colors with the three primary colors. One thing I learn from this project was how to manipulate the paint to blend like I wanted it to.
