"Places"

Media: acrylic paint

This is a transformation portrait piece that represents all of the different countries I have lived in via the shape of the vines.

"Hypnotizing Color"

Media: prismacolors, pencil, pen, highlighter

This project used shape, color and shading to guide the viewers eye across the work. This piece gave me a chance to work with repeating patterns, something I did not usually use in my work.

"Spinning Around"

Media: watercolor, prismacolors

This is a watercolor piece displaying a place/space in the school.

"Alone on the Prairie"

Media: prismacolors

This is a colored pencil piece made for the rodeo. My goal was to emphasize that "western" feeling through the main subject of the artwork.

"Serene Paper"

Media: Pencil

This artwork allowed me to gain further experience with values by creating paper. I wanted to capture the realism of the toilet paper.

"A Cold Winter's Day"

Media: prismacolors

This is a colored pencil piece that was used for the school's christmas card. It was a way for me to practice using colored pencils and not using any references.
