Sketchbook

This image describes me because it says all of the types of things I like to do including playing basketball, watching TV, drawing, and playing video games. It also is decorated with my favorite colors and is in the design of my fingerprint.

I chose these pages to showcase because I thought they were some of the best work that I made while doing warm-ups in my sketchbook. I used pencils, prismacolors, and pens for the most part, but occasionally we got to paint.

Title: Wild West

Media: Charcoal, Pencil

The goal was to draw something that would be related to the wild west and shade it with charcoal.

I learned that charcoal is very messy to work with and that I don't like it a lot.

Title: In The Chapel

Media: Pencil

The goal was to draw a certain part of the chapel.

I learned that it is really fun to draw perspective

Title: Shoes

Media: Paint

The goal was to gather shoes from Ms. Thayer or other students and draw and paint them.

I learned that painting shoes is cool and I really like painting.

Title: Objects v Colors

Media: Prismacolor, Pencil

The goal was to draw items in a different way that Ms. Thayer told us to do.

I learned that it is hard to draw things whenever you are doing it in an odd way.
