Sketchbook

The first page in my sketch book is my 'finger print'. In the fingerprint are words or phrases that describe me and things I like, along with an outline of my favorite colors. Obviously it is not finished because my life isn't.

The images below are in the very very far back of my sketch book hidden from society. Featured in this compilation of pictures is Arnold ( the dinosaur in the top hat).

Lassoed Together

Charcoal and acrylic paint

The goal of this project was to capture Western Heritage through still life.

Throughout this project, I learned that charcoal takes time and patience and requires a lot of layering.

Costume Closet...

Charcoal

The main idea of this project was to practice perspective and depth.

I learned while working on this project that shading is a key factor in perspective drawing.

Hangin' in there.... barley

Acrylic paint

Obviously this project is not finish....like most, but the goal of this project was understanding acrylic paint and shading with it.

I learned that acrylic is hard to work with especially since it was my first time working with it.

Sid the Sloth

Charcoal

The goal of this project was to capture ourselves in a drawing. We drew our self-portrait while looking in a mirror.

I learned that I really like charcoal and it is easy to work with. Also that the face has some interesting shapes.
