On my title page, I came into high school with a lot of ideas for what I want to do in the future. Just like my ideas my colors don't match. Not everything on that page is going to happen so the colors I used relates to how realistic it is.
I choose these 3 photos below by the way they make me feel. We drew this man on the right on the first day of class. We drew upside down so we had to look at shapes and how those shapes make this man. I liked how it turned out. The top left work is a warmup that we did in class and it made me interested in the contrast of bright colors. And the bottom left is what had me started on shading and charcoal. I would choose charcoal over any material today.
Charcoal
My goal was to create a western drawing that picks up on multiple aspects of the west.
I learned how to better use my highlights to give my art more texture.
Acrylic Paint
My goal was to use lots of techniques from other projects to create a flowing art piece.
I learned how to use perspective to my advantage in art.
Prisma Colors
My goal for this project was to give as much shape as I can to each bead.
I learned how to use highlights and darker shading on my project.
Pencil
To show 3D values in every shape and to use different shading techniques to create depth.
I learned how to make shadows and how to create a point on the paper that grabs attention.
