Line Sculpture:

Side 2
To me this art piece shows excitements, through the various zig zag lines throughout the sculpture. The different patterns such as zigzag lines, wavy lines, and dots creates and cool pattern on the sculpture. The art piece was made with a thick paper, tape, markers and black paint. We first cut out the shape we wanted for the sculpture. After we cut the paper out we taped all the sides together, and made it 3-dimensional. We then go on to add patterns to the two main sides. To end off the art piece we painted the sides of the sculpture black. The black and white colors really make the painting look chic, and it pulls the overall art piece together. I loved making this because the patterns look cook and it was fun to make.
Organic Coil Pot:
The Organic Coil Pot we made is one of my favorite things that i've made. This was made by starting off with a pinch pot and then slowly adding multiple coils on top of the pinch pot. After we got to the desired hight on the pot, I smoothed it out. After I got the base of the pot done I started to add decorations like the spirals and spheres. After the pot was fired we glazed the pot. I used two glazes because I wanted the effect of two colors. The colors are a brown and turquoise color. I now use this pot as a flower vase and I love it!

Mug:
Side 2
This mug is a mug with a face on it. The Mug that I made was made by a pinch pot, and then adding coils. To make the face we first started out with the nose. We first pushed out the nose to have a "template." Then we shaped it more with the wood tool. I then added a piece of clay to further create the nose. Then you add nostrils. After the nose, I worked on the eyes. To make the eyes I got a ball of clay and then aded two coils to create eye lids. I wanted to go with an angry look, so I added eye brows, angled down, to make an angry look. Next was to make the mouth. I took two coils and shape them into lips. After the face was completed, I made the handle of the mug. After the mug was fired we glazed it. When looking at the glazes, I loved the metallic look the one I used had.
