This is the title page in my sketchbook. We used our own fingerprints and sketched what they looked like on my sketchbook front cover. Then I filled in the lines of my fingerprint with things I love or things I am passionate about. I added a pop of color by coloring in some of the lines of my fingerprint.
I chose to draw the corner in the fine arts building. I used charcoal and had to use perspective to draw this piece. I used crosshatching on the stairs.
For this piece I used charcoal to draw the cow and the background. I then mixed my own paint colors to make the violet color used to paint the bluebonnets . This is definitely one of my favorite pieces I did this year.
I sketched my shoes and shoes of other people and then transferred it onto my final piece of paper. I used acrylic paint and chose to do monochromatic and chose the color red. I added white and black to change the colors so there was values added to the shoe.
For most of this piece I did random drawing with my eyes closed. Then I chose an object to create on my paper out of paper and glue. When I finished I used Prismacolor to add diamond shapes onto the artwork.
I chose 3 of my favorite pieces from my sketchbook. They were either practice sketches before I did it on my final piece of paper, or it was a class assignment. I used acrylic paint on the cowboy boot, and pen on the other two pieces.
