ABOUT THE SCULPTURES
Line Sculpture

The Line sculpture project was a project that only used lines. We used straight lines to form our 2D shape. Then we continued by drawing on our 2D body, I used only curved and straight lines. The shape was formed whenever we cut out a 2D mat board and then taped the matting board creating a 3D form.
Organic Coil Pot
Clay & Glaze
The Organic Coil Pot was a project that used coiling and stacking, and then smoothing both the inside and outside. The shape is very organic and just flowed by how the clay was stacked. The overall texture was smooth before I added the beads. In my case, I wrapped the texture around in an attempt to lead the viewer’s eye around the pot.
Face Mug

The Face mug was started with a pinch pot, we started to build on top of it with coils that were around the size of our thumb. Once the mug was three to four coils taller than its width, we began creating the face. For the face, I started with the nose, and then the lips. Then I added my cheekbones and finished with the eyes. Once the eyes were completed, I finished the brow bones and then added the mug's handle, which was the hardest part.
