We hold a number of email groups to allow us to contact groups of people easily. These include people with addresses outside of @arcolatheatre or @arcolaenergy such as casual staff and volunteers. Managers of these groups are able to add and remove members. External members should get a confirmation email when they are added.
The groups we currently hold include:
Theatre
facilities@arcolatheatre.com - People involved in facilities work
fohteam@arcolatheatre.com - FOH supervisors plus FOH managers.
fohstaff@arcolatheatre.com - All FOH staff
fohvolunteers@arcolatheatre.com - FOH volunteers

participationstaff@arcolatheatre.com - All participation staff
techstaff@arcolatheatre.com - All technical staff
Adding Gmail filters for groups
It is possible in Gmail to make rules to put emails form groups in their own folder, so you can keep them separate from your inbox.
Follow the steps below to create a filter to automatically move your group’s messages into a label:
1. Click the down-arrow in the right side of the search bar in Gmail
2. In the advanced search options box, enter your group’s email address in the To: field
3. Click Create filter with this search in the bottom, right corner
4. Check the box next to Skip the Inbox (Archive it)
5. Check the box next to Apply the label: and select New label… from the drop-down menu
There are more instructions here.
