Our IT strategy has recently changed in light of the boom in Cloud data storage coupled with the transition to software-as-service.

In simple-terms this means that wherever possible:

1. We should purchase software on a service subscription basis. This ensures we are always up to date and eliminates Licence tracking issues (e.g. Office365, Google Apps for Business, Spektrix)

2. Our data should be stored in an externally provided Cloud service (Google Drive, Dropbox)

3. Use an increasing amount of Cloud-based productivity tools (Google Calendar)
