Ballard UK/Arcola Companies have a responsibility to establish a planned response to potential emergency situations.
For Facilities, this is in the form of a Emergency Response Plan.
The Ashwin St facilities are managed by Arcola Theatre which they satisfy this requirement through HSM061.
This includes:
The provision and maintenance of evacuation routes.
The provision and maintenance of fire detection & alarm systems
The provision and maintenance of first aid equipment and room
The provision and training of fire wardens and first aiders
Lockdown and Invac procedures
Ballard UK/Arcola Companies activities that alter the normal response plan or are conducted on third party sites shall have emergency response written into the procedures covering the activity.
These activities will need to be covered by a responsible person who is first aid and fire warden trained.
