I'd like to take a moment to personally introduce myself to the ANS community in my new role as the acting principal of our secondary school. I'm genuinely thrilled and honored to serve in this capacity, and I want to emphasize that my door is always open to each and every one of you.

I joined ANS in July as the Assistant Secondary School Principal and have since had the privilege of becoming part of this wonderful community. With 14 years of experience in various educational settings, I bring a wealth of leadership experience to this position. My educational background includes dual undergraduate degrees in Education and Spanish, as well as a Master of Educational Administration degree from Trinity University. I am also a licensed K-12 school administrator in Virginia and Maryland, and my dedication to educational leadership was recognized with the prestigious Rubenstein Award for Highly Effective Leadership.

Throughout my career, I've been a catalyst for positive change in schools of diverse backgrounds, drawing from my extensive experience in special education.  My leadership credentials are complemented by a certification for dual language education, which I believe greatly enhances my ability to lead in an international school setting like ANS.  As an educator, I strongly believe in collaboration and hands-on leadership. I place a high value on distributive leadership, and I'm committed to working closely with the ANS team. My extensive experience in the classroom and in administrative roles has equipped me well for this new chapter at ANS.

I have not only established a professional connection with ANS but also have made it my new home with my two children. My commitment to the ANS Mission and Vision is unwavering. I am wholeheartedly dedicated to our students, staff, and families during this transitional period.  In my leisure time, I enjoy spending quality moments with my family and occasionally, you might find me at a nearby beach, soaking up the sun.
