STEM - a Flex Day Workshop

Eunsol Lee and Hanbyeol Jung have been leading the STEM Workshop during Flex Day Cycle 3 with 6th to 11th graders. During this cycle students engaged in learning how to teach science concepts through experiments. After preparing themselves for all this 3rd Flex Day Cycle on teaching elasticity, pH and non Newtonian fluids, students had the opportunity to visit 15 de Septiembre School in Los Ladinos this last wednesday. In this visit they taught 4th graders these important science concepts through easy and practical experiments.

AASCA Robotics

We have dived into the world of robotics and put in place our comprehensive Robotics Program that starts from Pathways to our Secondary School. We're dedicated to integrating robotics to elevate students' learning journeys. Our goal is to nurture technology skills and minds, foster teamwork and ignite critical thinking skills along the way.

We are thrilled that this year, three of our tigers will be showcasing our program at the very first edition of AASCA Robotics in Guatemala on February 28th. This marks a milestone at ANS, as we will engage with other schools' robotics programs in the region.

Let us present to you our Robotics Team members for AASCA Robotics this year:

Join us in celebrating this milestone!

Message from our Counseling Team

Attention Seniors!

Congratulations on working so hard on completing and submitting applications. Those of you that are US Citizens should ensure to complete the FAFSA by each particular school's deadline. Check your portal for the deadline. As you know, there have been many changes to the FAFSA so many students are having trouble filling out the form.

If you are a student having trouble, please email or call the financial aid office to determine next steps.

Attention Juniors!

It is highly recommended to take your SAT and your English Proficiency Exam in your junior year.

SAT Dates:

Registration for the March 9 SAT is February 23rd!

Attention Students!

We are continuing our Speaker Series, where students have the opportunity to hear from a professional or college student. Last week, they heard from Nidia Gutierrez, who discussed her film major, how she went about her college search that ultimately led her to Yale, and recommendations she has for students.

We highly encourage students to take advantage of this Series to hear experiences from various fields. These take place Thursdays during Community. Our speaker next week will be the Chief Financial Officer from LAFISE.
