HIGLIGHTS OF THE WEEK

NJHS Induction Ceremony

The Xolotlán Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society at ANS proudly welcomed 19 new inductees, bringing our total membership to 47 outstanding students who exemplify the five pillars of NJHS: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Character, and Citizenship. The ceremony featured special guest speaker Andrea Lanuza, current ANS student and President of NHS, whose inspiring message reminded students that stumbles do not define them, but instead become stepping stones toward growth and resilience.

Through academic excellence, leadership, and service, NJHS members actively support both the Middle School and Elementary communities, strengthening unity across divisions.

Tiger Chess Tournament - II Edition

We were proud to host the II Edition of the Tiger Chess Tournament this past Monday and Tuesday on our campus. The event brought together talented student players from 6 schools for two days of strategic thinking, focus, and friendly competition. The tournament featured exciting matches across multiple categories, providing opportunities for players of all skill levels to showcase their abilities.

Our ANS students demonstrated outstanding preparation and sportsmanship throughout the competition. We are thrilled to celebrate three of our players who earned 1st Place in their respective categories. In addition, seven more ANS participants achieved impressive 2nd and 3rd Place finishes, reflecting the strength and depth of our chess program.
