Mombacho
Experiential Learning

This week, our second graders embarked on an Experiential Learning trip to Mombacho Volcano. They explored volcanoes and their diverse ecosystems, discovering how these environments support the unique flora and fauna of Nicaragua. Our academic program incorporates these experiential trips to allow students to delve into specific topics and broaden their knowledge, furthering their journey towards academic excellence.

Fifth Graders Present
Youth Empowerment Projects

Fifth-grade students presented their Youth Empowerment Projects, demonstrating their efforts to positively impact their community and showcasing our Core Values and Student Traits.

Outstanding fifth-grade students who have shown a strong commitment to causes that significantly affect the lives and well-being of our community will receive a gold-seal distinction at their promotion ceremony.

Second Grade Picnic

Our Primary School Counselors, Mrs. Ximena Salaverri and Mr. Camilo Torres, lead our Social Emotional Learning (SEL) program. This program provides our students with a valuable opportunity to develop socio-emotional skills that contribute to healthy identities and prepare them for leadership in a global society. Our second graders recently concluded their SEL sessions with a picnic, where they shared and reflected on what they learned throughout the 2023-24 school year.

Student Led Conferences

We look forward to celebrating your child's learning at our upcoming Student-Led Conferences (SLC). At ANS, we believe parent-school partnerships are important for our students to achieve academic excellence.

The sign-up for SLC conferences will be sent by your child’s teacher.
