New notarized
identification requirement
identification requirement
We would like to inform you about a recent requirement that the Ministerio de Gobernación (MIGOB) is requesting from all non-profit organizations operating in Nicaragua, including our school.
MIGOB is requesting a notarized photocopy of the valid identification of the Primary Contact of each family in our community (You are receiving this email because you are listed as the Primary Contact for your family).
Given that this is now a standard requirement for all non-profit organizations operating in Nicaragua, we ask for your support so that our school can fulfill this request smoothly and in a timely manner.
To make this process as convenient as possible for you, next week we will be offering the free service of a notary public in the Ossi Room of our school, during the following hours:
Days: Monday, October 2nd, Tuesday, October 3rd and Friday, October 6th, 2023.
Time: From 6:45 AM to 3:00 PM.
If you decide to use this free notary service on campus, please bring your original valid identification document with you.
For Nicaraguan citizens: Nicaraguan identity card.
For international members: Nicaraguan Residence Card and Passport. (If your residency is being renewed, please bring the expired ID card and proof of renewal.)
Your original valid ID will be photocopied and returned to you immediately.
If you prefer to have your ID photocopied (not a scanned print) and notarized outside ANS, you need to follow the steps below:
Make a black and white photocopy of BOTH sides of your valid ID (on a single sheet) enlarged and with good resolution.
SAMPLE
Have this photocopy notarized by a notary public.
Place the notarized document in an envelope and seal it.
Deliver the envelope to the Administrative Office to Ms. Pilar Perdomo before Friday, October 6th at 3:00 PM.
We understand that this may seem like an inconvenience, but compliance with this requirement is an integral part of our ongoing commitment to fulfillment and transparency as an educational institution.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us through the provided email address: logutierrez@ans.edu.ni. We are here to support you throughout this process.
Certified Math Specialists
We are proud to announce that thirteen ANS educators recently completed the two year MSIS Math Specialist certification. The program provides specialized skills in instruction, assessment, and curriculum development, ensuring the creation of a cohesive and comprehensive math education experience across grade levels. At ANS, we are challenging the status quo to promote creative problem solving, multiple solution pathways and representations, and making deep conceptual connections among them.
