Enhancing Engagement in Life Science

The launch of Unit 4 Structure, Function and Information Processing was full of excitement with an exploration of scientific concepts in an immersive, 3D environment as a hands-on approach to learning. Our 7th graders had the opportunity to visualize abstract and complex concepts such as cellular processes in Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, making them more accessible and understandable for our students as this visual aid promotes engagement and deeper comprehension.

Task Challenge in Mathematics

Students engaged in the collaborative game '#100 Task', an innovative approach to discover the core aspects of teamwork in mathematics. This interactive activity highlighted the importance of communication, collaboration, and pattern recognition in understanding complex scenarios. It was an excellent opportunity for students to appreciate the power of unity and cooperation, setting a constructive and collaborative tone for the upcoming school year.

Summer Programs

The American University of Paris

AUP invites advanced high-school aged students aged 16 and over to apply to Summer School to take part in our university-level courses. Our Summer School courses take place during three different sessions, two three-week sessions in the months of June and July, and a six-week session that spans both months. Whichever session students choose, they will find fascinating Art History, Fine Arts, and Fashion courses, as well as French Immersion classes during our June and July three-week sessions and Creative Writing workshops in July.

For every course, students have the choice of enrolling for transferable university credit or just for fun (audit) at a reduced price. Students may visit our summer website for more information or to apply for Summer 2024.
