By 2021, the nature of the great work that the International Recovery team were undertaking had outgrown the project process that was being used. Whilst everyone continued to prioritise safe work practices, this was becoming less structured and therefore reliant on the individual rather than the organisation.
As a result, a new 'Safe System of Work' was created to define the full life cycle of a project, to more closely align with the way the team want to work. It has been carefully designed to guide new and experienced team members alike in how to see a project through to completion.
Before starting work, you should take the time to familiarise yourself with this process. It is detailed, and you will need to spend some time with it - it is recommended that you bookmark this page so you can come back to it at your convenience.
Once you arrive on site, you will have the opportunity to go through this process with the rest of the team. Please don't be afraid to ask questions at this point, if you haven't already!
Once you arrive on site and have received your induction, you will be asked to sign the Safe System of Work Charter. This is purely to acknowledge that you understand the part you play in working safely, and that you will be an advocate for safety and this process in the future.
When you are asked to sign the Charter, please make sure you save a copy of the form below if you haven't already been sent a copy. DO NOT sign this linked form, it is just the template.
If you have any questions, please reach out to your line manager or program / project team.
We hope you enjoy your work with All Hands And Hearts - welcome to the team!
