PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WEEK
Our Professional Development Week aimed to help All Hands and Hearts alumni engage with individuals at the top of their field and benefit from their guidance and support. It was also an opportunity to showcase alumni / previous staff members who have successfully leveraged the skills they gleaned volunteering or working with All Hands and Hearts to advance their career.
Eight virtual sessions were held over Zoom in the form of panel discussions featuring members of our staff team past and present, our Board Members and some of our alumni community.
ALUMNI SPEED NETWORKING EVENT
Our virtual speed networking event was an excellent opportunity for our alumni community to come together through their mutual appreciation for All Hands and Hearts, get to know others, build their professional networks and kickstart mutually beneficial relationships where alumni can help each other develop professionally.
VIRTUAL CAREER FAIR
We partnered with Open Space Gatherings, founded by one of our Nepal program alumni, Greg Rodehau alongside his colleagues Mallory Penney and Reggie Harris. The team at OpenSpace helped us design an engaging interactive agenda of networking activities and facilitated the entire event as co-hosts.
This allowed staff from All Hands and Hearts to attend as organizational representatives to promote our volunteering and employment opportunities.
