For Volunteer Cohorts that had application launches, we add a volunteer group record with the new record type 'Cohort' to help centralise information and summarise the data pertaining to that cohort. This was decided in recognition that the coordination of cohorts was quite complex and nuanced and required a lot of additional information to consistently pull the right metrics from the raw data sources (applications, waivers, volunteer hours etc.) and in an effort to improve consistency in reporting and knowledge sharing internally we agreed to manage these records with approved, reconciled summary data per cohort and utilise the notes field to track and provide context to the cohort.Â
