Introduction
Community Safeguarding can be defined as the actions taken to prevent, mitigate and respond to incidents of abuse, neglect, violence and exploitation. Humanitarian contexts are challenging to navigate. AHAH, its works and its personnel can accidentally introduce and exacerbate existing risks if standards are not in place to reduce incidents of harm or respond to harm if and when it occurs.
