The stores construction started in 1990 and later opened on April 19th, 1991 as a pace membership warehouse. in early 1994 Kmart would sell many Pace stores including this one to Walmart who would later turn the Pace into a Sam's Club in january of that year. in 2003 Sam's Club would get new exterior signs, later on in 2012 the signs would be updated with the newer Sam's Club logo. on August 18, 2017, the Sam's Club store would close after being open for 23 years. Fun fact:
the road connecting the back of the building and March Ave is still called Pace Way to this day
