The plaza opened in December 1972 with Woolco and Alexanders Supermarket as its original anchors. In January 1983 Woolco would close all of their US stores including this store. A Bradlees Department store would open in the Former Woolco shortly after its Closure, Bradlees moved from the store in downtown Manchester. Alexanders closed in mid-1991 after being bought by Shop n Save, which decided not to keep the store open and relocated down the road. Office Max would open in the former Alexanders in late Decmeber 1992. In 1993 a smaller part of the plaza connected to the office max was partly demolished for a new road to a Home Depot which opened January 6th 1994 next door. Maximum Mattress opened in 1994. In late 1995 a Bell Atlantic store opened next to bradlees and Maximum Mattress. In August 2000 the Bell Atlantic store was rebranded to Verizon Wireless. Bradlees closed in early 2001 after being the Plaza's main anchor store for 17 years. In mid-April 2003 a Super Stop & Shop would open in the former Bradlees, it was the first Super Stop & Shop in New Hampshire since the 80s. Office Max closed in early 2007. In late 2007 Pet Smart opened in 1/2 of the former Office Max space. In 2008 Stop & Shop received a remodel and a Stop & Shop Gas station was built on the site of a small bank in the parking lot. Five below would later open in the rest of the Office Max space on November 19th, 2010 verizon closed in 2010 after moving into a former tweeter store down the street. Stop & shop would close in September 2013 after all Stop & shop NH stores closed, including the gas station. On May 1st 2015, Burlington Coat Factory opened in part of the former Stop & Shop space with the following Michaels opening in the rest of the space on May 17th, 2015. The Stop & Shop gas station was demolished in April 2024 after being vacant for Over 10 years.
