The Goffstown Plaza opened in summer 1974, with the main anchor stores being a Stuart's department store and Shaws. The Shaws was at the end of the plaza closest to Mast Rd and Stuarts was at the far end of the plaza and a Pizza Hut was in the parking lot. In 1988 the Shaws supermarket closed and was re-built next to the stuarts leaving the former Shaws vacant. Stores would later fill in the former Shaws like, Fashion Bug in early 1990, and then Subway, and Home Vision video in mid-late 1995. The Stuarts department store closed sometime in July 1995. In 1996 Home Vision was bought out and later replaced by Movie Gallery. In late 1996 advanced auto parts opened in 1/3 of the former Stuarts. In 1997 a Family Dollar store opened in another 1/3rd of the Stuarts store next to Advanced Auto Parts. The last 1/3 of the Stuarts store wouldn't get filled until Big Lots opened in 2000. Sometime in 2002, the Shaws got an expansion making the store larger. Sometime in 2009, Rite Aid relocated to a newly built stand-alone store down the street. In April 2010 the movie gallery rental store closed. Later that year, Planet Fitness would open in the former movie gallery on December 27th. Fashion Bug closed in late 2012 along with Dollar Tree replacing Family Dollar. On September 2nd, 2013 Shaw's supermarket closed, leaving the plaza without a main anchor tenant. In March 2015 RadioShack would close. On September 14th, 2018 Fun City Trampoline Park would open in the former Shaws. In 2020 Pizza Hut would close and later be demolished. In August 2020 Namco pools would open in the former Fashion Bug store, but it only lasted a few years, closing early-mid 2024. In late May 2024, a restaurant called La Vaka opened. In late January 2025, Verizon Wireless opened in part of the former Huberts/Rite Aid. Big Lots closed on February 25th 2025, after being in business for 24 years.
