The plaza opened November 6th, 1987 with the main anchor stores being a 2-story Treismans Catalog Store and TJ Maxx. Tj Maxx moved from its former plaza down the street. On January 20, 1989, Treismans announced all stores would, and the store most likely closed in March 1989. Service Merchandise would later move into the Treisman's space in early 1990. In fall 1993, Dress Barn opened. In March-April 1999, SunCom opened, which was later rebranded to AT&T store in 2001. In January 2002 service merchandise closed along with the company. On October 29th, 2003 Off Broadway Shoes opened on the top floor of the former service merchandise; later Dress Barn moved into the former bottom floor with Days Jewelers. In late June 2007, Cold Stone Creamery opened. In 2019 Hallmark would rebrand as The Paper Store and move to a larger store space in the plaza.in early 2019 Payless ShoeSource and the AT&T store closed. Boston market closed in mid-July 2019. Dress Barn closed in late 2019. Cold Stone Creamery closed in 2020. Classy Nails opened in the former AT&T on October 21st, 2020.In September 2022 Smoothie Bus opened in the former Cold Stone Creamery. In fall 2023, Carter's would open in the old Hallmark space.
