This plaza is made up of 2 stand-alone stores and a main plaza and was built in front of the Steeplegate Mall. The first to open was the stand-alone Home Depot which opened July 22nd, 1998. The second to open was the main plaza which consisted of Target which opened October 10th 1999, Best Buy which opened November 12th 1999, and Linens' n Things which opened shortly after Best Buy. In the parking lot of the main plaza is also a Micheals craft store which opened in 2000 and a ninety-nine restaurant which opened in October 1999. The 2nd separate store of the plaza is a Shaw's supermarket which is in the far northwest part of the plaza, it opened on October 19th, 2001. Linens' n Things closed in late December 2008. shaws would remodel in mid-2011. Ocean State Job Lots would open in the former Linens' n Things on March 8th 2012. In mid-2012, Men's warehouse was built next to the Ninty-Nine restaurant and opened along with Sprint and Great Clips. Sprint only remained open for a few years and was replaced by Verizon Wireless.
