Around 2 weeks ago, sadly, the abandoned Ames in Seabrook was demolished after being abandoned for almost 23 years, leaving the only other abandoned Ames in the state being the former location in Dover. I did take some photos of the location before its demolition in early July, before the demolition was even announced. Click Here for Photos

Recently I have bought a rite aid isle sign from the last rite aid in manchester in the livingston park plaza location. as well as the sign i wen to the store on there last day and found some old brooks spharmacy coupons and price tags under the stores shelfs. i also got a door sign from the rite aid in Hooksett on their last day 7/27/25.

On July 4th, I went down to Seabrook to visit the closed Ames, and surprisingly, it is still fully abandoned (other than being used for some storage by the Market Basket at the other side of the plaza). Also, recently I bought a Rite Aid shopping basket from the Rite Aid in Goffstown, they are currently having a going-out-of-business sale. Rite Aid has been closing all over the state, with almost all of the Rite Aids in the Manchester area closing in the past 3 weeks. photos below.

I was in the RK plaza in Hooksett recently and noticed that they have started construction on the new building that will house a Panera Bread. The current progress is that the full parking lot on the left side of the former Kmart has been demolished (around the plaza's back entrance).

On 3/27/25, I went to Party City in Manchester for its final day. It was open only for around 7 years and was originally located at a former Iparty store until around 2017. I purchased a Shopping basket as well. I also recently took a trip to Boston and took a picture of the abandoned Circuit City off the highway in Somerville, MA. Published Claremont Marketplace.

On Tuesday the 25th, the Big Lots in Goffstown closed after being in business for over 24 years. I bought a shopping cart from this store and was given 3 baskets from the manager. I also took some photos of the backroom of the store, showing some of the original paint and decals on the walls from Stuart's department store. I'm sad to see this store go since all of the employees were very nice and it was one of my favorite stores. Today I published the Belknap mall page. Below are some Photos I took.
