The plaza opened with Stuart's department store on October 30th 1969, and Demolas Supermarket also opened soon after Stuart's. Anton's cleaners would open in a separate part of the plaza on April 24th 1970, with an NH liquor store opening next door to it later on. In September 1972, Papa Gino's opened between the 2 anchors. Walgreens later opened next to Papa Gino's sometime in the 1970s. Stuart's Department store closed in April 1995, and would stay vacant until summer 1996. In Summer 1996, construction would start on moving the Demolas supermarket into the former Stuarts space. The construction would end in March 1997 with the Demolas reopening as a Market Basket. The former Demolas space was filled by Iparty and Linens' N Things in fall 1997. Linens' N Things would close in late 2008. Around 2008-2009 Walgreens would leave the plaza and relocate to a standalone store down the street. In summer 2011, Bed Bath & Beyond would open in the former Linens' N Things, after moving from the Webster Square plaza across the street. DressBarn would open in the former Walgreens space in 2012. Iparty was replaced by Party City in 2013. In August 2016, the NH Liquor store would leave the plaza and relocate to a larger space down the road. In late summer 2018, Sketchers opened in the former NH liquor store, around the same time that part of the plaza was remodeled. On November 4th 2018, Papa Gino's closed. DressBarn closed around June-July 2019. Around 2021-2022, Party City would relocate across the road into a former Pier 1 space. In May-June 2023, Bed Bath & Beyond would close. in July 2024, Burlington would open in the former Bed Bath & Beyond.
