The plaza opened with only 2 stores: a Kmart, which opened March 9th 1972, and a Grand Union Supermarket, which opened around the same time. In 1974, a Bonanza Steakhouse was built and opened in the parking lot. Around that same year, the Grand Union Supermarket would close. In May 1975, Demoulas Supermarkets would open the first Market Basket branded store in the former Grand Union space. Starting around 1988, an addition to the plaza would begin, with the market basket moving into a larger new space and 2 additional store spaces added. In May 1989, the Market Basket would move and reopen in its new space. In April 1990, Staples would open its first New Hampshire store in the old Market Basket space. In early-mid 1990, LensCrafters would open next to Staples. Walgreens Pharmacy would fill the remaining plaza space sometime around 1990-1991. The Kmart store would remodel in 1997 to the BIG Kmart format, and receive new signage. In July 1999, the Market Basket would receive an addition and remodel. Bonanza Steakhouse would close sometime around 2000-2001, with 99 restaurants opening in the former Bonanza in 2002. In summer 2018, LensCrafters would replace its exterior sign. Kmart would close on February 16th, 2020. LensCrafters would move out of the plaza in 2023. On June 11th 2025, Walgreens would close in a round of store closings.
January 1st 2025
