The mall opened on July 23rd, 1986 with 4 main anchor stores Sears, Lechmere, Jordan Marsh, and JC Penny. At the time of opening, it was the largest mall in New Hampshire which would later be overpassed by the Rockingham Park Mall in 1991. Later in 1993, a Filene's Department store was built and opened next to the mall's food court entrance and was the 5th Anchor store. The food court was remodeled in the mid-90s. In spring 1996, Jordan Marsh closed and reopened as Macy's after the company was bought out by Macy's. Lechmere would close in late 1997 and would later be demolished in early 1999. A 2-story target would be built on the former Lechmere space and opened on October 10th, 1999. In early 2006 Macy's merged with Filene's, the Macy's store in the former Jordan Marsh would move into the space occupied by Filene's. The former Jordan Marsh space would stay vacant for 5 years until August 5th, 2011 Dicks Sporting Goods would open in the vacant space along with Red Robin, Burton's grill, and Vision Works. Throughout 2011 and 2012 the mall would get a remodel replacing most of the tile floors with carpet, remodeling the food court, and the mall's interior getting an overhaul of new paint and lighting. In February 2020 Sears closed after being open for almost 34 years. On March 5th 2025, the Nash Casino opened in the former Sears space.
