Hey Lunies, if you're looking for some video game related spookiness, I've got a few vids and channels to check out for filling your days (and nights) with the appropriate jump scares.
The first set are all gonna come from a new discovery for a gaming channel on Youtube, ESO-Fallout and Elder Scrolls Guides.
I wouldn't say I'm an ES or even Fallout fan (never played one in my life), but he makes his weekly/daily Skyrim videos so delightful that it almost makes me wanna try out Skyrim (modded to hell, of course XD). I in fact found him via recommendations for horror mods, as the first set I found him under was for a horror mod called Clockwork Castle. What I liked about this mod was the intricate dungeon, meticulously made player home (or rather castle), and the surprisingly deep storyline, which may owe its inspiration to the likes of Silent Hill (in terms of location, effects and even story).
Buckle in with a load of Skooma and alcohol, cuz this massive mod is a whopping several hour epic.
And if that whet your appetite for more horror mods and watching ESO Danny get jump scared, check out this newer video for Skyrim Classic:
The box room was particularly ingenious, as well as the haunted chest. XD Its not nearly as polished as Clockwork but the scares are pretty hilarious.
For a different kind of horror, he and his fiancee actually delve into the gloriously Jump Scare Fare Man of Medan, which is a fictionalized story about the famous ghost ship, the Ourang Medan. This one is much more modern, with its traditional jump scares and ear blowing volume jumps. Even if youy're more a jump scare snob, watching Danny and Kimmy navigate the often frantic QTE portions is fun and hilarious. A longer play of it can be found here and here, but linked below is the clipped highlight version:
Before we move to the next channel, here's a couple highlight videos of Danny, Kimmy, and Ultimate Immersion navigating The Forest in 2 highlight videos. He also has a long play of this available in his channel.
Get Wrecked, boys.
Oddheader is a channel that documents weird easter eggs in games, so here's a few of his creepy easter egg vids to start off. First is one for creepy enemies in video games:
This one has a few unsolved mysteries from games like Silent Hill 2 and 3, which should be familiar for those who are really into the series (like myself XD).
Its part of a series, so check out the rest in the series for weird easter eggs and out of bounds discoveries. His channel doesn't have a lot of vids but they're all really great (and if you're a Tony Hawk Pro Skater fan, he's got a couple vids for that too).
Edit: Here's a halloween ep just uploaded (10/25/19) that's got some great scares for all:
Speaking of Easter Eggs, check out James The Easter Egg Hunter. He has an enormous library of various easter eggs, so here's a few select snacks just for you:
Last but not least, if you're looking for LONG LONG PLAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYS, here's my fav YT channel Maximilian Dood tackling some evils of the resident flavor.
Here's his full through run in Professional difficulty for RE4, modded with some delicious 4k textures to make the game look even more beautiful. ADA, WAIT.
Here's a just-over 1 hour First, Fast and Full Demo runs for the Resident Evil 2 Remake:
His subsequent fullthrough runs for the remake itself (strap in, this monster's quite a few hours long). Starting off with Leon A:
And of course Claire B on Hardcore:
Last but not least, a Hunk and Tofu run:
And if that hasn't filled you to the top with zombie goodness, here's some highlight vids of Max navigating RE1 Remaster and RE2.....drunk.
Drunk in a Mansion with Max (ITS MARBLES, BABY)
Drunk in a City with Max (ITS MARBLES, BABY PART 2 ELECTRIC BOOGALOO)
For completionists, here's Claire A XD
For a different flavor for the taste of zombie Pringles, here's some compilation vids of Max's RE7 run....in VR 8D
Well, hope this should last you til Halloween for background gaming let's plays XD
ITS TIME TO GO!
