Login / Logout

QuickEasy allows you to logout and log back into a Transaction using the numerical key pad. This is ideal for scenarios where multiple users use the same workstation, eg. a Point of Sale environment.

Note

When the Logout functionality is enabled, a Logout button will appear in the top right corner of the Transaction list interface.
When the application is logged out, the database is disconnected which allows for maintenance to be done on the database without having to close the application.
User access is applied when a user logs in via the keypad, but the menus are not reset according to the logged in user's preferences.
The numberpad login has been updated to accept keyboard input.

Get Started

Only one setting is required to enable this functionality: Setup > Transaction Types > Logout. Check the Logout checkbox to enable the Logout functionality.

Limitation

This functionality can't be used with Transaction Types that use Estimates
