Menu Manager

The Menu Manager is where you create custom menu interfaces based what a company needs from the app. eg. The Menu Groups for a small company could be Customer Transactions, Supplier Transactions and Accounting. Whereas a bigger company might use the menu Groups to separate their Transaction Flow by department. eg. a travel company might create a separate transaction flow for Car Rental, Flights, Domestic Tours, International Tours and Accounting.

Grouping the Transactions in Menu Groups does not, however, limit the functionality for Transactions to interact with each other.

1. Menu Groups - This tab displays the Menu Groups that will be displayed on the Main Menu and on the Tile Menu.

2. Menu Items - This determines what Menu Items form part of the selected Menu Group for the Main Menu as well as the Tile Menu (see below).

3. Visible - This shows what Menu Groups are visible to specific User Roles.

4. Startup - This determines what Transaction Types / Modules are opened automatically when a user logs in.

5. Main Menu Description - This shows the name of the Menu Group that will show on the app's Main Menu.

6. Tile Description - This shows the name of the Menu Group that will show on the app's Tile Menu.

7. Main Menu Index - This determines the order that the Menu Group will appear in. An index of -1 means that the Menu Group won't show on the Main Menu on the top of the QuickEasy window.

8. Tile Index - This determines the order of the Menu Group in the Tile Menu. An index of -1 means no Tile Group is created for the Menu Group.

1. Select Menu Group - This drop-down list displays the Menu Groups as specified in the Menu Groups tab explained above.

2. Description - This is the name that will appear as Items on the drop-down menu or sub-menu.

3. Type - This specifies what Type of module the Item is.

   • Fixed - Fixed modules are modules that cannot be edited, changed or deleted. They are hard-coded into the app, such as the Ledger.

   • Trans Type - These are Transaction Type modules that can be created by the user.

   • Workflow - These are Workflow modules that can be created by the user.

4. Module - This specifies what Module is linked to the Menu Item.

5. Open - This setting determines in which panel a module will open.

   • Main - The Module will open in the Main panel.

   • Side - The Module will open in the Side panel.

6. Index - This specifies the order of the Item on the drop-down menu.

7. Size - This specifies the Tile size on the Tile Menu.

8. Colour - This specifies the Tile colour.

9. Font pt - This specifies the Tile font size.

10. Image (.png) - An image (.png) can be uploaded on the Tile for visual representation of the functionality or purpose of the Menu Item.

11. Text Location - This specifies where the Description / name appears on the Tile Menu.

12. Image Location - This specifies where the image appears on the Tile Menu.

13. Index - This specifies the Menu Item order on the Tile Menu.
