There are several ways to get to the same destination in BOS that appears throughout the application. Except for a number of fixed Menu Items, both the Main Menu and the Tile Menu can be customised to display items that link to Fixed modules, Transaction Types and Workflow modules. Menus are customised using the Menu Manager which can be accessed from the Setup menu.
Menu Items can be linked to Roles in the Startup tab so that they are opened when the application starts up.
Main Menu - This navigation bar has drop down menus for all the major modules, with clear and quick access to all the modules within them, as well as drop downs for Setup, General and Help.
Bread Crumbs Bar - This navigation bar provides instant access to whichever module you have worked in during that login session by listing them along this section - clicking on the name will revert the user back to that module. Menu is a constant and navigates user to the Tile Menu. This Menu Bar is often referred to as Bread Crumbs.
Tile Menu - This is a more graphic representation of the Menu Groups and Menu Items.
The Menu button appears within the selected module and includes functionality relevant to that module. It also includes Save Grid (All Users) which will save the grid for all the active users in the database.
